Since we are in a border town, we have a history of serving customers from Maine (and a few from other States). We also welcome our customers from both sides of the border to any clinics we are holding. Go to Clinics for a schedule.  

Can we fill your prescription?

·  By legislation, pharmacies in New Brunswick can only honor prescriptions issued by Physicians licensed in Canada. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick issue Border Area Licenses to Maine Physicians. These licenses allow patients to have their prescriptions filled in New Brunswick. There are more than 100 Maine Physicians who hold Border Area Licenses. To see the Physicians who hold these licenses check the website for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick. Go to the "Medical Directory" page and search for Physicians in the Region "Outside N.B.".

·        If you wish, Physicians who hold valid Border Area Licenses can call us or fax us your prescription (except if it is for a narcotic and a few other restricted substances). We will fill it and have it ready for you to pick up.

·        For reasons related to liability insurance, we do not mail prescriptions into United States.

 What medications can I take back into the United States?

·        Please check with U. S. Customs for information about importing medications. The U. S. Customs website is a useful resource. We suggest that you try this link: USCS Travel Spotlight . Click on the "Know Before You Go! - Online Travel Brochure" and look under "Prohibited and Restricted Items".

·        Note that U.S. Customs tell us that the person whom the prescription is for is the person who is allowed to import it into the U.S. 

Where is the Store located? 

We are in St. Stephen, N.B. and are directly across the St. Croix River from Calais Maine. We used www.expedia.com to get some distances to Calais. 

To get to the Store, turn right onto Milltown Blvd after entering Canada at the Ferry Point International Bridge. Turn left at the traffic lights onto King St. We are at 101 King St.  approximately 0.5 km. from the first traffic lights
